Jakob has been working with the orchestra since the 2023 Bremen Musikfest and has conducted us on multiple occasions, including a concert in Valencia and an alternative Passion Tour in 2025, as well as collaborating on Schubert as part of the Side by Side program with the Royal Conservatory in 2024. In 2027, he will conduct two Beethoven programs in major concert halls throughout the Netherlands and on the radio, and we are currently exploring further projects together.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Jakob Lehmann:<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u201cI\u2019m thrilled to deepen my relationship with O18C, an orchestra I greatly enjoy working with. Our past projects have been shaped by a shared commitment to combining stylistic and historical research with performances marked by conviction and emotional honesty, and I\u2019m excited to explore all of this further in the future.\u201d<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Kate Rockett:<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u201dJakob is one of the most interesting, independent-thinking, and talented young conductors on the HIP scene today. The work he is doing on the performance practice of 19th-century music is revelatory, with the evidence-based aspect of his work complemented by deep musicality and a joy of exploration.
