ANBI

The foundation is registered by the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration as a Cultural Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) (RSIN 8552 626 31). That means that for donations to the Foundation Friends of the Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century, there is an extra 25% tax deduction you can apply on your income tax return, with a maximum of €1250 per year. See the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration website for more information. There, you will also find the legal thresholds that apply to tax deductions for donations.

There are additional tax benefits for periodical donations without a threshold if certain requirements are met. Then, all donations – no matter how small – are tax-deductible. As with a one-time donation, an additional 25% may be deducted, with a maximum of € 1250 per year. See also the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration website for this. If you opt for a periodical donation, you can find the form compiled by the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration here. Please send the completed form to us by e-mail at vrienden@orchestra18c.com, after which we will send the signed form back to you.
