Christopher Price is a Canadian-born professional historical trumpeter, based in Amsterdam. Christopher moved away from his hometown of Toronto, Ontario, to study music in Montréal, Québec, at McGill University. It was at this institution that he obtained a bachelor’s degree in orchestral trumpet and historical trumpet performance, as well as his master’s degree in historical trumpet and horn performance. In 2020, Christopher moved to Amsterdam, where he completed a second master’s degree in historical trumpet and horn performance at the Conservatoire of Amsterdam. Christopher now performs regularly with ensembles across Europe and Canada on both historical trumpets and horns.
