Olga Pashchenko geldt als een van de meest veelzijdige klavierkunstenaars van dit moment; zij voelt zich evenzeer thuis op piano, fortepiano, klavecimbel als orgel. Haar spel wordt geprezen om de welsprekendheid, de intensiteit en de historisch geïnformeerde benadering waarmee zij internationale podia verovert als soliste en in samenwerking met vooraanstaande ensembles en orkesten. Vanaf seizoen 2025/26 is zij Artist in Residence bij AMUZ Antwerpen en treedt zij toe als nieuwste Artistic Partner van het Orkest van de Achttiende Eeuw. Olga en het O18c delen een geest van nieuwsgierigheid en vernieuwing, van overtuiging en artistieke durf.
Hoogtepunten uit haar recente carrière omvatten haar debuut bij het London Philharmonic Orchestra, optredens met het Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Il Gardellino en Concerto Köln, evenals een recitaltournee door Azië. Pashchenko’s discografie op Alpha Classics wordt bekroond met talrijke prestigieuze onderscheidingen en lovende recensies. Samen met bariton Georg Nigl ontving zij in 2021 de ‘Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik’ voor het album Vanitas. Haar meest recente album Guess Who? Fanny & Felix Mendelssohn werd door The Times en Qobuz uitgeroepen tot een van de ‘Best Albums of 2025 (so far)’. Toekomstige projecten omvatten de voortzetting van de Mozart-concertoserie met Il Gardellino, en de start van de Beethoven-concertoreeks met het Orkest van de Achttiende Eeuw, beide met Pashchenko als soliste en leidend van achter het klavier.
Sinds 2011 woont Olga Pashchenko in Nederland, waar zij als professor verbonden is aan het Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
